How to transmit TV (40PFL7007H/12) sound to an old LG hts? What cable do I need?

    Hi All,

So I have a 40PFL7007H/12 TV and an old LH-T255SD home theater system.

Aside from being able to watch DVDs with 5.1 sound, I would primarily like to push the sound of the TV (or eventually a HDMI connected device ie: laptop) to the speakers of the LG amplifier.

The hts dates back to 2005 so unfortunately HDMI is not a possibility. These are the connections I can work with:

And these are the connections the TV has: (plus the supplied YPbPr and SCART adapter)

Could you guys please help me find what cable(s) is/are needed in order to obtain the abovementioned setup? Thank you for your help and a happy new year to you all!
