    No jointspace on 46PFL8008K12 ?

Bought a 46PLF8008K12 last november, and received the HUE lights as a bonus.
HUE lights work great, but cannot be linked tot the TV's ambilight.

Using the app HUE+ambilight - I keep getting the message 'jointspace not activated'.

Tried the input Code 5646877223 about a thousand times, still no result.
No message on screen - nothing.

TV has latest software - firmware updates.
Philips customer care doesn't know whats wrong.

A local salesman thought that a recent software update caused the jointspace functionality to misfunction.

Any suggestions on how to get jointspace working (and thus - connect the HUE lights to ambilight) on my brandnew 46PFL8008K12 with 000.173.044.000 software ?

    Hi,

normally you don't need to activate jointspace on your model.

Does the Philips MyRemote app on the same device (as your HUE app) find your TV?

    Hi Dennis,

This is indeed a strange issue and I would like to look into this a little.

Please confirm that the app is called "Ambilight+HUE" and is made by Philips. If yes, please try to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Please try to reset the HUE Bridge with the reset hole on the bottom.

Which device are you using the app on? Which software version is the device on?

Please also (as Toengel suggested) test the "Philips MyRemote" app with your TV.

    Thank you!

    Same here :{
    47pfl6158, hence (also) a 2013 model.

Tried everything. Talked to the Philips help desk, but aside from the advise to upgrade the software (which I did, of course), they were not able to help me.

Therefore I cannot use the two Hue bulbs that came with the brand new TV, the way it was intended, as an extra Ambilight.

Both the remote app + ambilightHue app can't find or see my TV.

    HELP!!!

    Hi,

is your HUE-Bridge connected to the same network as your SmartPhone and TV?

My tv is connected to the router (wireless, password protected home network).
The bridge is connected to the same router, but wired. Linksys e2000.

So I guess they are connected to the same network.

    SOLVED!

It turned out to be a router problem. I had a Linksys e2000, that apparently didn't handle the issue of "on the same network" very well. I now have a Netgear R6250 and the problem is solved.
