32PFL7606H
On friday 13 EPG was not available due an update. After that most of the channels in the epg messaged: no information available. Does somebody know what 's the matter?

Hi,
- check if you have the latest firmware (14.93)
- switch off TV completely for 2-3 Minutes (main switch on the back)
- set EPG to broadcaster, restart TV, set to network, restart TV

Toengel,
I appreciate your valuable contributions on this forum, but this answer is totally wrong.
There is a lot of information missing in the EPG from TVTV.
That has IMHO nothing to do with the TV Firmware or restarting the TV.
I have this same problem. Only half of the program info is present in the EPG.
The same thing happened about a month ago, and was solved some days later.
So resetting the TV or upgrading Firmware will not help.
Even calling Philips will not help. TVTV has to complete the missing information.
Kind regards,
Niels

Hi,
ok - I thought you don't get ANY information - sorry...
On my TV, all channels are available... but maybe the switching between broadcaster and network will help to "redownload" all the channels...

I switches from network to broadcast. All info was available. Back to Network, for most channels info was still not available.
If someone has a solution, I'd like to hear from it!
P.S. Is there anyone who should advice friends or family to buy a Philips TV? For standard viewing it's OK, but there are a lot of options who work badly (EPG, Youtube..). It's rather frustrating. If I buy a product I should do what the manual promisses. I spend in two month more than €25,= on phone costs to the helpdesk (mostly EPG problems) and it still doesn't do the job.Last edited by erho; 01-15-2012 at 07:11 PM.
