SHB7000 Windows 7 Bluetooth Driver Problem

    Hi,

I'm trying to connect the SHB7000 headphones to a Dell Windows 7 computer. I get a driver problem as on attached screenshots. My system and Dell drivers are up to date. The headphones work on same machine but when Windows 8 is used.

What should I do to make the drivers work?

    Thanks

    Dear ybacay,

Thank you for the post. Can you please try to connect another Bluetooth device to your PC when Win 8 is on to check if it works?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    Sarka

    Hi,

Win8 works for headphones as well, it's win7 that fails. I do not have another bluetooth device at hand unfortunately

    Dear ybacay,

would that be possible to test the Bluetooth with your phone? There are some known issues with Bluetooth and Win8 which should be resolved by the software update.
I would suggest you to contact Windows Technical support to discuss this topic.

    Kind regards,

Try this, worked for me: Turn on driver download from Windows Update in Win7.

But the audio isn't the best. Some "knits" and speedchanges (due to A2DP, not really Philips headset's fault I think).

Same problem here. I add it but it is unknown in Device Manager and stays "Disconnected" in playback devices.

    I need solutions please.

    Hello,

I have noticed that there is a lot of user who are having problems with PHILIPS SHB7000 connect to PC. And whats funny that support is redirecting everybody to Microsoft, but Microsoft didn't create this headset so they shouldn't have any drivers for it. Yes it can be a problem in a devices like PC or mobile phone then we can try to contact the manufacture of that device but not the Microsoft!
So your redirecting everybody to save time (why?). And then Microsoft redirects back to you (wtf?).
I don't really need to connect my headset to PC, because I have bought it to use with my phone and probably next time when Ill be looking for a new headset I will surely skip the Philips (and I will tell the same to my friends), because either your support don't give a ****, either all the Philips company...

    P. S. The good part is that some one connected this headset to Windows 8, and still nobody care or try to extract that drivers from Windows 8 and try it on Windows 7...

PHILIPS support will and should redirect you to MS support or bluetooth. Why? Because the headset doesn't need (or have) specific drivers. They have A2DP support, need that on computer side, and that's all, actually.

Thing is, some cheap/crappy usb dongles are poorly supported (or not at all). You need drivers for them (not the headphones) and even if you find some, you can gest stuck with bluetooth headset not working. Then you can try luck with apps like Bluesoleil. Worked for me. Yeah, it's pain in the ***, lost 3hrs yesterday fighting it, but finally got it. Anyway, it's not PHILIPS fault.

Oh, and on Ubuntu 14.04 they work like a charm, out of the box, even on my s****y bt. It's all about bluetooth drivers.
