    Exclamation Philips server not found 37pfl9604

    Hello,

    When I want to start net tv on my 37pfl9604, I get the message philips server not found. I was searching for a solution for this issue on this forum and found some topics of other and newer tv's which are mentioning about some firmware .100. When I go to the support page of the 37pfl9604 I can't find anything of such firmware. Could someone help me to find a solution for this problem.

    The firmware you're talking about is for the 5xx7 and 4xx7 models, not the 9604... the latest firmware for your TV is 000.026.078.000.

    currently, there are server issues - not a problem with your TV. We "just" need to wait...

    For three weeks now I have been unable to connect my 32 pfl4007t/12 to the philips server too. I have had no useful support from philips. I am taking my tv back to the retailer because it is still under warranty and will never buy a philips product again. Really wish I'd bought the Samsung I was going to go with in the first place - especially because my sister in law had a similar problem with her philips TV previously.
    I have lost all faith in philips as a brand. I used to think they were better than they really are - one philips customer lost here for good!

    Hi there!

    I have exactly the same tv (37pfl9604) which worked fine for the last years. Suddenly net tv stopped working (cannot find the philips server) in the last week or so.

    Really looking forward to any solution, since net tv is really missed here! Otherwise I have to switch to apple tv or so, but do not want to have a cabled solution. The wifi option icm net tv worked fine sofar.

    Just for information: my second philips screen (bedroom) is a newer 2011/2012 model, and works fine. Net tv was changed to smart tv in an software update more than a year ago.

    As said before: any help is much appreciated.

    finally got my tv sorted - required a software update (eventhough the tv stated it had the latest software installed!)
    Look how many other users are posting related to this issue (think how many people there are out there that haven't gone onthe forum but that have the same issue!)
    Serious issues with philips if you ask me.. I won't be buying their products again as it's taken nearly 4 weeks to get this issue resolved.

    I think you need to install latest software to fix your problem

    Same here with 32PFL9604 and 40PFL9704. On both TV's Net TV isn't working since a few weeks now.
    It's a shame that Philips does not do anything about that!

    Good day users of Net TV,

    First I must say that I was very happy to use this Net TV on my 37PFL9604.
    Last days I get no connection any more, same as others see.

    Also I bought a newer one couple weeks ago 37PFL6606 as this offer better NetTv.
    More apps....also with this one I see sins last weekend problems.
    No EPG from Internet, No help page from Philips, .. lot more.
    The funny thing is that some Apps still work..Like Veronica / SBS6 app.
    Als the function "HbbTv" (Cast up / uitzending gemist" is still working.

    Now as my eletronic guide from network not work, I can also no access my records I made by this TV. Pitty that we must find out by a forum like this but not get a warning message from Philips..
    Like, Sorry but ther are problems and we working on it.


    So, this make worry what you have today as nice function on TV, is tommow not suported any more.
    I have a lot coleages what have also Philips TV and I will ask them if theye see same problem.

    Let hope that Philips suport us.

    Stil today a bit happy that I bought it as the picture from TV is good:-)

    Dear Philips technical,

    Can you confirm that the Net TV server has problems or is down?
    If it is not and it works...then I start to think if it posible that Internet provider(s)
    can block the aders to it? may be.

    Strange that the Philips remote app on my GSM with EPG, works here at the office but not at home.

    Like to find out where the problem is.

    same here. connecting from Malaysia on a Philips BluRay HTS5563/98 system. down almost all the time and yet their site says everything is UP. what the flying F*CK??!!

    Was running sw. 1.52 and even had it updated to the latest available sw 1.59. still not working. Internet access is fine at home and the system is connected over LAN cable so no wireless issues!!

    Since today Net tv on my 37pfl9604 works fine again. Nothing changed on my side, so it seems like philips solved something on their side.

    Good day all,

    Indeed is SmartTv online sins yesterday eveing arround 23:00 hours.
    Philips thank you for that but I want to make a commend on this.

    Pitty that we not see a message on this forum or webside...Sorry server is temp down..somthing like this. Then after it start to working; need on confirm again a rulles before I could acces.
    Written we are not responceble and so on... I like to place note that users buy a Smart TV with couple fuinctions. The functions use Philips as sales points to promote...Yes? Normally you expect that they keep working. Now I saw that moost function are gone if this server is down.

    The over all, all my records made on externally HDD can I not more playback.
    The message I get to see ist that they are desrtroyed.
    In the time Server was down; I could not use this function at all.
    As you need this EPG page to use this (PVR) record / PLayback function.

    So, I will start again to use externally HDD to make sure I not loss it any more.
    Pitty that bad expricance.

    If ever Philips this read, use this for next software defelopment to make it better.
    Philips must keep their name high in the TV world.
