play music from nas (apple time capsule)

Anyone with experience of playing music from a NAS on AW9000?

All my music is on my Apple Time Capsule wireless network drive. i Want to connect it to an AW9000, see my music and playlists in the app and play music without the need of turning my pc on.

As far as I understand my NAS is not dlna certified.

I asked the question in the online chat. Rhey said i can connect but they cannot guarantee it wiil work?

Anyone with a more solid answer.

If it doesn't work I will go for Sonos. They confirmed it works.

    Thanks.

    Dear tom_vtk,

To stream music from your PC/Mac to AW9000, your NAS needs to be DLNA certified. Since yours is not certified, we cannot guarantee it will work.

    Kind regards,

so it might still work or does "cannot guarantee" = "it will not work"
Is there a way to find out (besides buying a d trying)?
what parameters affect this streaming functionality?

If you have a PC, a tablet or smartphone download a DLNA player on it and connect it to your server to play music. If it works, high chance it works with the AW9000.
If you do this test with a Twonky player and it works, then the chance is even higher.
