Cannot control BDP9700 with MyRemote app

    Hi,
while it is possible to control my Philips 40Pfl9705 with MyRemote, I cannot do that with the BDP9700. Reinstalling the app on my IPad did not change anything. MyRemote works okay on my Android phone. What can I try? It used to work, but I cannot tell when it stops to do so.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

"doesn't work" is not an error description. ;-)

So your App does not find your BDP? Are BDP and SmartPhone in the same subnet in your local network?

    Come on!
Maybe you're right, but in fact not what I'd like to read...
Both devices are in the same subnet and perfectly detected by the Android version of the app. That's why I'm running out of ideas. I only see the TV set in the app after rescanning the network

    Hmmm,
you refer to the BDP firmware? Right?
If yes, I don't see the point, as the device is detected an controllable via the Android app, so I would rather expect the issue in the IOS version of MyRemote.
Anyway - how could I do the step you suggested?
    TIA,
    Gerhard

    Hi,

ahh - sorry - I didn't read properly. It's working on Android, but not on iPad...

Which iOS version is installed on your iPad?

(when it's working with Android there is no need to install FW again)
