    Hi Andreas,

The required minimum write speed is 30 megabit per second and an SD card will not be sufficient for recording TV.

    Minimum requirements are as follows:

    To pause live broadcast:
USB 2.0 compatible hard drive with a minimum of 32GB Hard Drive space.

    To record TV:
USB 2.0 compatible hard drive with a minimum of 250GB Hard Drive space

The maximum power comsumption of the hard drive cannot exceed 500mA unless it has it's own dedicated power supply.

    Best regards,
    Ina

I don't understand why a sd issint sufficient enough.

you say minimum speed is 30 megabit = 3,75 Mbite

SD card class 10 = Minimum write speed of 10Mb pr.sec

    So thats more then enough.

You also say that it requires a harddrive with 32gb to pause live tv

Well... the tv tells me that i need minimum 4gb to Pause live tv - so you are wrong here.

I actually tested with a 32gb SD (class10) today and i worked. The tv even told me that the card was okay for recording tv

The card is one i borrowed from a friend so i now have af 64gb of my own that i cant get to work. I aslo have other sd cards but they all get the message "write speed to slow" (all class10 cards)

    So what is wrong ???

The write speed is more then enough
The tv will Pause and record on drives with 32gb and above

    Another software problem maybe ?

SD cards are not considered "generic USB storage", and as such, will simply not work.
