    Ambilight behavior in low-light scenes

    Hi!

Is it maybe possible to turn off those led sections of the ambilight frame where there is no color information on the screen? So in low light scenes the background could be black, as the image on the screen, not white like it is now. My TV is a PFL9704H.

    Thanks in advance:

    Hi Zsolt,

    Welcome to the forum.

The white Ambilight in dark scenes is how the TV is supposed to react. This can not be turned off or directly adjusted by the end user.

The only thing you can do is adjust the brightness of the Ambilight, so that it's less intensive. Perhaps if this is set to maximum then the brightness in dark scenes is far too intense for your preference.

    Best regards,
    Ina
