    Repeteable problem with SKYPE please advise solution

    Dear Sir(s), my 7008 which I bought in October brand new has a continous, clicking sound that is emanating from the TV set. I have tried with several different Skype receivers both video and audio, and the quality of the sound is poor due to this issue. Can you please advise a solution quickly ?

    Hi Ina or whoever is representing Philips here - I have sent you my details in a private message more than one month ago. This issue was raised on 16th January and I see that other users in the forum seem to ahve the same problem with clicking sounds on outgoing Skype calls. Do you Think that you can advise me and the other Philips customers on the forum when you will come back with relevant information how to resolve the problem or alternative action to take ? Best regards

    Hi plover,

    The issue is still being investigated. As the issue is not 100% reproducible and has proven not to be a definite hardware issue, it is not an issue that is easy to identify.

    However, I can say that progress has been made in the effort to determine the cause.

    As and when a solution is available I will let you know!

    If you have not done so already, please contact your local customer service team as the TVs with Skype Clicking Sound require a service intervention to resolve this issue.
