50PFL5907/F7 discrete codes for HDMI input selection

Hello, I have a Harmony remote that doesn't seem to manage very well the "input menu method" for HDMI port selection. My model is 50PFL5907/F7 but I could only find codes for the xxPFLxxx5x/xx models on the Net. What I got is a document apparently from Philips detailing discrete codes, including EXT1 to EXT8 hat seem to be in part for HDMI selection. The codes are specifically:

    RC5 3,04: Ext1
    RC5 0,57: Ext2
    RC5 3,56: Ext3
    RC5 3,57: Ext4
    RC5 3,123: Ext5
    RC5 3,06: Ext6
    RC5 3,07: Ext7
    RC5 3,08: Ext8

Even though, my model didn't match the document's, I was hoping it would work. I had Logitech add those commands to my profile and they don't have any effect on my TV. Could anyone help my find the right codes or hint a better way to control my set. It seems that depending on what's active or not on my other HDMI inputs makes the remote select the wrong input most of the times when I switch input devices.

    Thanks.

    Hi NomadFriend,

I use Logitech for 55PFL5507H/12 before my TV went bad, but the remote works fine for HDMI input and all inputs as with the original remote.

To help you out, if I may ask, what is your Logitech remote model ? Mine was Harmony 600 . What you should do is to try to use the Logitech remote to LEARN from your original remote using Logitech Harmony Remote Software.

    Thank you Uyiosa,

Yes, I do know about the learning capability of the Harmony remotes. Mine is a 650 and would do this easily. My issue is hat the original remote doesn't have direct HDMI selection capability. The only method with the remote is to press the Source button and then use Up and Down arrows to select the proper input and then hit ok. This is often the case for TV sets with many inputs. Mine has 8. Now, this doesn't prevent the manufacturer (Philips) to create the codes for intelligent remotes. The document I have for the model similar to mine states that it's for, to quote them: "Users (& special dealers) have to be able to make special applications with our TVs"
