    Miracast

    Hi,

I have a Philips Elevation 60PFL8708S/12 And I can't get the Miracast working. I'm trying to connect my pc which has Windows 8.1 to my Philips tv via Miracast, but for some reason my computer can't find the tv.

I've updated the TV with the latest software, I've checked that the Miracast is on.

I would really appreciate the help, main reason why I bought this TV was because of Miracast and looks of course

    Thanks in advance!

    Kind Regards,
    Wille

    Hi,

for Windows 8.1 the graphics card driver and network driver must be explicitly Miracast compatible. Try to install Intel WiDi driver on your notebook.

    Hi,

SimplyShare has nothing to do with Miracast. SimplyShare-App is a DLNA server - but the functionality of SimplyShare-App is included in the MyRemote-App. So, use MyRemote app - you don't need a key.

    Hi,

there is no App for Miracast. Miracast is part of the Android OS (version 4.2 and up). It's often called "Cast Screen" or "Mirror Screen".

Windows 8.1 also supports Miracast (if the driver support Miracast) - you can find out via DXDIG.

PC with Intel Wireless Display technology also support Miracast (WiDi version 3.5 and up).
