    46PFL8685H HDMI problem

Since a while I have a Philips 46PFL8685H. I connected a media-playert to the HDMI port of the Philips.
To complete the picture : for stereo-sound, the Philips is always connected to an external amplifier, the internal amplifier and speakers being disabled. No problems there.

Now, something seems to go wrong with HDMI.

When I play something from the media-player on the Philips, a MP3-file as example, I hear (ritmic but not ritmic based upon the music) clickings in the sound.

It must be related to the Philips 46PFL8685H because

    - it happens on any HDMI port of the Philips 46PFL8685H
    - it happens with any HDMI-cable
    - it happens with all (MP3-)files
    - I don't hear it when I connect the media-player cinch-out to the amplifier, and play the same files
    - I don't hear it when I connect the media-player HDMI to my PC-monitor, and play the same files

Any ideas what might be going on ?

    Hi wquatan.

It could be an issue with the HDMI ports in this case. Does it happen with other files as well, such as video files etc.?

    Best regards,
    Ina
