Exclamation [BDP9700] Analogue 7.1 "Loudspeaker Volume Setup" Issue/Problem

    Hi,

there is a problem "Loudspeaker Volume Setup" of the analogue output (7.1) of the BDP9700.

    General:
In the volume setup one is able to increase or decrease the volume of each analogue output (Front, Center, Sub, Rear, Surround). A test tone is played, so that one is able to setup the volume properly.

If one has e.g. no center speaker in his setup an one has deactivated the center speaker (in the speaker setup), there is no sound output (test tone) while increasing/decreasing the volume in the "loudspeaker volume setup". This is normal behaviour.

    Problem:
    If one has:
    • no surround speaker AND/OR (means: speaker are deactivated)
    • no rear speaker AND/OR (means: speaker are deactivated)
    • no subwoofer speaker (means: sub is deactivated)

the test tone (of surround, rear, sub) in the "Loudspeaker Volume Setup" is always coming from the "Front Left" speaker.

    Test environment:
    • Firmware 4.19

I have the same experience with you.

I just turn every speaker on in order to adjust the speaker volume.
