    HTB3260: Problem with ARC

I have a Philips HTB3260 Home Cinema System, but I have trouble with the ARC (Audio return channel) via HDMI from my TV, a Samsung UE46F5505 (YES it supports ARC). I can't get the sound from the TV through my HCS speakers.

I have connected an HDMI cable from the HDMI/ARC port on the TV, to my Blu-Ray/Receiver. I have enabled the HDMI-CEC function on the TV (and I am able to control the Blu-Ray/Reciever with my TV remote via HDMI). And I have set the TV's speaker option to "Receiver".

On my Philips Blu-Ray/Receiver, I have enabled EasyLink. In the Audio Input Mapping feature, it scans for external devices, and finds the TV. However, in the 4th step, when I choose the input connector, it only lets me choose between "Aux1", "Optical" and the third option is simply a hyphen ("-"). Shouldn't it let me choose HDMI/ARC or something like that?

Also, when I push the "Audio Source" button, the display only alters between "Opt in", "Aux" and "Music". Why can't I choose HDMI here?

Of course, my HCS speakers work just fine when I play Blu-Ray discs, listen to radio, or music from a USB stick. It's just the sound from the TV that I can't get to work.

It looks like you have already made an Audio Input Mapping with the same TV.
Can you please reset the HTB to its factory settings and do the Audio Input Mapping again?

When talking about the source selector, it is a normal behavior. HDMI ARC is not available via RC button.

    Kind regards,
