    AW9000 stuck in blinking amber

    Hello,
I have a very troublesome AW9000 system. Right now I'm stuck in getting the blinking amber light and nothing works to change that. I get no connectivity with either the WiFi, AUX-cable or optical cable. None of the buttons on the back are showing any sign of life.

    I've tried to:

    • Resetting by pressing the no.1 button, unplugging the powercord, holding no.1 until the second flash after the solid amber light.
    • Plugging it straight into the router with an ethernet-cable and letting it "boot up" for 12 hours.
    • Letting it rest (without powercord) and letting it boot (with power cord) for 12+ hours.

I think my AW9000 are totally broke, what do you think?

    Cheers,

    simonhaze

Amber light means the speaker has no network, did you try to setup via the AirStudio+ App ?

Is your router working fine ? What is the brand and model number ?

Blinking amber light means: The speaker is starting up or firmware upgrade is in progress. http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/c...scy=SE&slg=ENG

Also, I should be able to use the AW9000 without any Internet connection if I use the mp3-link or digital cable.

If the speaker blinks forever yellow, well, it's time to bring it to service ...
