    Unhappy No HDMI

I have a 32PF3321/12 TV set with HDMI. I bought it in 2007 and a year later I bought a Sony Vaio laptop with HDMI. I remember that for a short while HDMI worked fine and I could watch TV channels via the computer. Then the sound disappeared but I had an audio cable that I could use. (Although the idea of HDMI is that you have both picture and sound through one cable)>
I suspected that there was a HDMI version conflict with an update of the graphics card in the Sony laptop.

Now I have for some time a HP Pavilion g6 laptop with HDMI and now the HDMI connection does not work at all anymore.
The graphics card is "Intel(R) HD Graphics Family".

I suspect again a conflict with the HDMI version, the TV version being too old. I have another, newer, TV in the bedroom (19PFL3205H/12) and that works fine with HDMI.

Would it be possible to update the TV software? (cannot be found on the Philipos website). The TV has mini USB connections with SERV B and SERV C indicated.

Or should I try to move the driver of the graphics card to an earlier version?

    Please help me.

    Hi Alfred,

Your TV does not require software update, so therefore none are available.

The mini USB ports are for service technicians only.

It could very well be a compatibility issue between your graphics cards and the TV, but it could also be that the HDMI ports have stopped functioning.

If you would like to get in touch with an authorised service centre, you are welcome to contact our customer service team who will be able to assist you:

Select your country and preferred language, then Contact.

    Best regards,
    Ina

I had email contact with a service technician in Holland. The spare part that is needed is not available anymore (TV set from 2006), so problem cannot be solved. I have to wait till I buy a new TV
