    USB-recording via digicorder

My digital channels come in via my digital recorder, that is connected with the TV via scart.
So I can only look to digital TV when the digicorder is on.

But I am not able to record, nor time shift a program via USB, although the USB-drive was well formatted.

    Does anyone see a solution?

    Hi Marc,

For USB recording to work directly via the TV the channels also need to be installed via the internal TV tuner. In your setup the TV effectively works as a monitor for your Digicorder.

Alternative solutions would have to be in conjunction with your Digicorder and not the TV.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Thank you Ina,

But what other possibilities exist to see digital TV besides via a decoder, as it is in my case?
Is there a possibility to choose for another setup?

    Best regards,
    Marc

You can only record from the source where the channels are installed, so on your digicorder for you. So for your setup you need to find a solution outside the Philips TV. Philips can't help you find an answer if the channels are not installed on the TV.
What TV model do you have?
