Bdp 9700 v4.19 NO WORKING AT ALL

    Hi to all.

On friday 17/01/2014 I got the 9700 blue ray Player, that had an old firmware. I upgrated to the latest firmware which has been succefull and after that there is no signal to the TV set, via HDMI, dispate all my effords and whatever I have tried. That problem seems that have been solved with the latest firmware 4.19.

Since last night I cannot turn the Player on, whatever I have tried.

Only the Red light turns to white and nothing happens. The screen in blank and I cannot turn it off as well, only I have to unplugged it.

It seems there are a lot of issues regarding the Player and I am very dissapointed.

In only three weeks time I had to resolve only problems and not to use the Player as it should.

Please help!! Is there any solution tha you may know?

    Tnaks in advance

    Dimitris

    Hi,

does the player make any noise? Did you unplug for at least 2 minutes?

    Hi,

it made a noise from the tray just once or twice but nothing else.

I have unpluged it for the whole night. Nothing

    Hi everyone,

I have tried everything that I can think of, but nothing happens.

The only thing that changes when you try to turn on the Player is that the red light turns to white.

    No noise, no screen, nothing.

I am very much disapointed with all this situation.

I am thinking that is probably a SW issue and there is not any way to reset the Player.

Let me know if someone has experience somthing like that, or if it is a way of reseting the Player.

    Thanks

    Hi,

if nothing happens, when you start the BDP, call service... or bring back to the shop.
