Hi Ina, now smart tv works ... But in the morning was not possible to open anything ... However ...
About picture quality ... Before last update picture quality was better !!! Now if perfect natural motion is off - picture quality is worst than tv-s with 50hz panel - picture is not fluently ... With perfect natural motion - on - there are huge artifacts and ghosts behind moving objects ... Also with moving text. It's horrible ... Not possible to watch tv like this. I get headaches
I can not understand ... how is possible when make new update to spoil things that are working well before ...
And i tell you a lot of problems in my posts ... and i am sure that you and software technitien knows about all this problems ... and nothing happenOne year after 2013 models are in the market ... and software become worst ....
Can you tell us (customers) is there chance our tv-s to work normal (not perfect). Is Philips techniciens make something about ours software problems with tv-s ... and when we will have stable worked firmware ...
As Berek says " WE ARE NOT BETA TESTERS !!!"Last edited by peter_m; 03-13-2014 at 02:04 PM.

Yes, I try everything but nothing helps.
I hav solution for my issue.
Old firmware will help because my TV works perfect before update.
Please, can you give me old firmware so I can enjoy what I payed for.
Everything is in your hands.
You can help me if you want.
I know you are not software developer but You are representing Philips here.
It is up to you and Philips if you want to help me or not.
Thank you

I found old version of firmware, but tv don't want to start installation (may be because of old version). I hope that soon will be available normal (i only can dream for good) firmware
Up to then i will have inconvenience
Unfortunately i can not return the tv if tv "work" ...2 mount tv ... 800 euro (that's a lot of money for my country) ... even i have 5 year warranty ... and picture of tv is worst than cheapest models tv's.

Hi, unfortunately tv don't want to start installation of old update (44 or 45)...
I really hope that soon will be available new normal firmware without problems ... 40 days after last firmware (046) my picture is horrible ... + all other bugs and problems ... specialy tv craches, need restarts ...
Also i want to tell about other problem ... In SD chanels there are problems in every side of picture ... defective lines (5-10) pixels ...
And tv loses wifi conection very often ... When wifi connection to my free wifi network crash ... only solution is to restart tv, not possible to make new connection without restart !!!
I want someone from philips to tell me - Is there hardware problems on our tv-s or everything is software ... And how is possible in new firmware to make problems that are missing in old one ...
And is it possible to have normal tv-s ...Last edited by peter_m; 03-16-2014 at 06:41 AM.

Every day i find more and more problems ... Today i find that is not possible to log in in facebook aplication because is not possible to input "_" (downline) - normally must be in "1" when press 4-5 times - but on screen only 1 appear. Not possible also with backside keyboard... Very "smart" ...
However - i send email with 20 !!! serious problems (and there are much more problems) to local philips dealer. And ask for refund money. This is not for what i pay.

I'm not Ina, but I can conclusively say that downgrading your firmware is not recommended, as it can create a compatibility issue between the main software and the standby software. If this happens, you risk bricking the TV, rendering it useless (and unauthorized downgrade of firmware voids the warranty on your TV).

And Mr. Ihave,
I see that you have smart copy/paste view of Ina.
What you can advice us more about?
Please, enlight us.
We pay our tv's.
We have good time and then. Philips release new firmware and give advice to update.
We do that as we adviced.
Now we have junk tv's.
Somebody should pay for that.
Are you agree or not with that?
Ha, Mr. Ihave aka Ina Philips.
PS You are losing customers. Somebody will read this forum and somebody will lose jobs.
Don't you think that is good destiny for Ina and Software development team.

It looks like you stil beleve that Philips is the manufacturer of your tv, and that they will take care of your problems just to secure their well known name. Wel let me wake you up, it's a dream. Philips television devision was sold in 2012 to the Taywanees company TPV. The only thing on this TV that is Philips made, is the brand name.

This software update has been terrible. BBC iPlayer hasn't worked for weeks now (since I did the update).
Picture quality is worse.
Dynamic backlight is too aggressive even on a lower setting.
TV turns itself off now and then for no reason.
Menus freeze up and refuse to respond.
Netflix sometimes doesn't connect.
Please hurry up with the new software to fix this nonsense. It really shouldn't have taken this long.
