The "Nederland - Nederlands" support site always runs behind. I always go to "Belgie - Nederlands":

Hmm, it looks like the audio sync issue has been fixed while watching DVB-C using the internal tuner using a CI+ module, but the audio sync issue is still present while watching TV through my Humax 5050C decoder (connected to HDMI 1).

@Henkna: Yes, the firmware is the same for NL and BE.

    Hi Philips,

Is it possible for me to use my €1300 40PFL8008S/12 TV to watch digital channels without restarting from time to time (when USB hdd/flash drive connected), or to watch subtitled videos from network streaming? Or to use the "smart tv" function and apps or even use the TV menu, without frustration (very slow)??

You keep releasing firmwares for different weird issues, but you ignore the VERY important issues that your customers take time to report on the forum!

The ONLY appreciative thing about this TV is the Ambilight. But then it shouldn't cost that much just for this.

Also, another issue (hardware): glares in all 4 corners of the TV, which is now "masked" by the aggressive dynamic backlight, but in 3D movies still very noticeable.

I wish I read the forum before buying this TV....

    FW v000.173.046.000 (173.46) or QF2EU-0.173.46.0

After a few months of using, I can't stand it anymore and I will contact customer support and insist for my money back. It's not right to ask so much money for this cheap TV!!

The TV should be used for relaxation, not frustration.

After upgrating to 173.046 (from 173.045) I'm getting constant random freezes/laggs while playing video files over a network. I wonder if there is any possibility to revert this update back to 173.045?

after upgrading to the latest firmware version 173 046:
when in stanby, pressing the button to turn on the remote control does not respond,
I have to press the back button to turn it on.

tried disconnecting power of television, but still the same.

So, a new fw update soon?
How about including some of the issues from the Technical feedback topic, for change?

    Hi
    Connected PS 4 to 8708.
Ambilight on the left and top left side flicker.
Even after turning to other source after using PS 4, still flickering.
Nead to unplug from power and then it become ok till next time connected to the PS 4.
