SHB7000WT not working under Iphone 4, PC with Windows 8.1 Pro, or 13.10 Ubuntu Linux

I have just bought the bluetooth headphones SHB7000WT and the last hours have been a nightmare trying to connect them to ANY of the following devices that have bluetooth enabled: Iphone 4, HTC Desire, PC with Windows 8.1 Pro or PC with Ubuntu Linux 13.10 installed.
The problem is that it was not recognised by any of these devices, with the exception of Iphone 4 who for only one time (in the many times I have tried) and only for a very brief moment (15 seconds) it recognised the headphones. After recognising it, the device dissapeared again...
The PC with WIndows 8.1 Pro installed (with all the updates at day) could not discover it (the headphone device is simply not listed in the following 4-5 minutes of waiting)...

The steps I take for every connection attempt are like in the manual:

    1. Turn on bluetooth on the device (Iphone, PC) and make the device discoverable
    2. Turn on the headphones bluetooth by holding the play button for a couple of seconds until the LED starts to blink alternatively white and blue
    - The headphones are not connected to the device (Iphone or PC) by any audio cable!
    3. Search for bluetooth devices from PC or Iphone

I need some help, and after so much time spent on this, it is becoming increasingly dissapointing and frustrating..

    Thank you!

    Hi,

Please restore the headset to the factory settings. Please refer to page 11 of the user manual below:

    Thanks for the fast reply!
Reseting to factory settings seemed to have solved the problem for all the devices.

    All the best!
