Problem 47PFL6158K/12 TV-channels CanalDigital give frozen scene using DVB-S/S2

I have a TV 47PFL6158k/12. By using the Mediaguard CAM + smartcard from Canal Digital in the TV, using DVB-S/S2, several TV channels have frozen TV-scene. For example NED 1,2,3 and RTL's. It likes the signal is not strong enough. By using my Rebox decoder connected to the TV the scenes are perfect.

    Hi goodLUCk,

It could very well be due to the signal strength or signal quality that you are experiencing issues with freezing pictures. Because the TV has a high picture quality screen it also requires high quality signal when channels are installed on the TV.

You can check the channel signal info by pressing OPTIONS on you remote control and selecting Status.

The signal quality and strength are indicated here. These should preferably both be above 50-60%, and for optimal viewing these should be around or above 80%.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hallo Ina,
Ned 1 and 3 HD gives the most "frozen problems"
The signal strength is 66 and the quality is 83. With my separate Rebox decoder that have the same strength en quality value is the scene OK.
Using de decoder in the TV, there are several other HD TV channels with a lower strenght and quality as Ned 1 and 3 that have a very good scene.

    Hi goodLUCk,

In this case I would advise the following:

Please ensure your TV is up to date with software version 173.46.

Please try to reinstall the TV completely, including satellite channels:
HOME > [Setup] > [TV settings] > [General settings] > [Reinstall TV]

Please test the channels with no external devices connected.

Should you still have this issue, please contact your local customer service team who can advise if the TV is in need of service:

    http://www.support.philips.com/suppo..._selector.jsp?
Select your country and preferred language, then Contact.

    Best regards,
    Ina
