    SHM1900 Headset mic not working

    I bought the headset back in August (Philips SHM1900). Up until recently they've been working fine but suddenly the mic on them doesn't seem to work. I've triple checked to make sure the mic input is plugged in correctly, I've uninstalled and re-installed drivers to see if that was the problem, but nothing seems to fix the issue. The speakers on the headset work fine still, it's just the mic that seems to have stopped working. Thought it could be a hardware issue, but the audio manager seems to know that it is connected.

    Would be grateful for any help in this issue.

    Thank you for the post on the forum. Can you try to connect the headset to different computer?

    If the mic does not work, I would strongly advise you to contact your dealer to request a replacement or repair under warranty.

    I didn't purchase it at a Philips outlet, it was from Argos, would this matter? I thought because it's been more than 30 days since I purchased it, Argos wouldn't do anything.

    Thank you for the information. In case the headset is faulty, you should be able to have the headset repaired or exchanged within warranty (12 months). Please, contact the store directly and they will assist you further.
