Planned maintenance on MyPhilips and internet radio servers

    Dear forum users,

Due to a planned maintenance, MyPhilips will not be accessible starting today until 27th of February, 1:00 am. It will not be possible to register products or to add / edit internet radio favorites lists.
Likewise, internet radio will not be available during that time.

After 27th of Feb, 3:00pm CET we are happy to welcome you back to MyPhilips.

    Thanks for your understanding,
    Philips moderation team

I bought a Philips NP1100 Internet Radio from your Philips shop in Dublin while that shop was still open.

Recently I have been trying to use the NP1100 again for internet radio. However no matter how many times I try, I always get the message:

"Internet radio server is not available at the moment. Please try later."

I get the same message if I try to re-register the NP1100.

If I try to update the software, I get the message:

"Unable to update at this moment. Please try again later."

    Currently the NP1100 displays:
    Software version =
    Hardware version =
    Bootloader version = 5.13

The internet connection seems to be OK. I've tried both wireless and wired connections.

Any ideas how I can get the NP1100 Internet Radio back working?

    Hi acemary,

Thank you for reaching out to us here on the Philips Support Forum. Let’s see if we get your Internet Radio back. I can see that you are running an older software version on your device. Have you tried to update both through the wireless connection and through a PC connection? If the wireless update fails, then please try the following:
    1. Download the newest software ( here under Software & drivers.
    2. Turn on your NP1100 and make sure it is connected to the network of the PC.
    3. Now press HOME select [Settings] > [System information] > [Network connection].
    4. Note the IP address of the NP1100 (you need it for step 5)
    5. On the PC, go to an internet browser and type in http://<IP address> (the IP address from step 4) the format will look like this: http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
    6. You should be directed to the Device Manager webpage where you select Software upgrade and click OK
    7. Now browse for the file that you downloaded in step 1. Find it and click OK to start the update

Let me know how it goes.

    Kind regards,
    Philips - Christoffer
