Phillips 3200 series connect to network

    Dear all,

I have a smart TV Philips 39PFL320H. It's connected to a wireless router through an internet wire.
I have a McBook pro and I wanted to connect the TV and laptop to a network. But I don't know how I intend to do this because I want to play videos direct to the TV without the memory stick.

I would really appreciate your help!
    Regards,
    Vlad

    Hi Vlad,

Could you please confirm the TV model number? It appears you missed a digit, which makes it harder to help you.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi Vlad,

In this case I have moved your thread to the TV: Streaming & Network section of the forum, as this is a more appropriate section for your query.

So you want to stream content from your MacBook to your TV via your network. This can be done with the help of a media server.

You will need to install a media server on you MacBook. There are various different kinds that other forum users can give you more information about.
Media servers are 3rd party, so I cannot recommend any one specifically, but have a look at Twonky for MAC for example.

Then you will need to switch on Media Sharing on your computer using the media server. For more information on how to set up the media server, please refer to the media server's website or support.

Once this is done you should be all set to play the shared files on your TV:

    - Press SOURCE on the remote control and select [Browse network], then press OK.
    - Find the file you wish to play and press OK to start it and to control play.

    Best regards,
    Ina
