    Question Net TV not working any longer (well, once in a while)

    Hello,

    I have a 58PFL9955H and recently upgraded the software to Q5553-0.140.47.0.
    Not Net Tv is not working any longer. I get the message:
    Philips-server niet gevonden. Probeer het later opnieuw.
    I tried to first downgrade the software with FUS_Q5551_0.140.34.0_prod.zip, according to a webpage I found at another TV type. However, when I used Configuratie, Softwareinstellingen, Lokale updates I got the message:
    Leeg and Geen software gevonden. I am sure the file on the USB stick was a valid autorun.upg.
    Then I thought it should be the Q5553 version, since this was alos the version of the upgrade I recently made.
    Then it found the software, so the webpage of Philips

    is wrong, since my TV model should be listed for the Q5553 version.
    Anyway, I checked the version 34 and Net TV. All went well.
    Then I upgraded again to 47 with the software on the webpage of my TV model.
    Conclusion: Net TV is not working.
    I could downgrade again, but I noticed that the 34 version software is quite slow in comparison.
    How can I repair Net TV and still use the latest software?
    Please help.

    Hi BasT.

    This fix does not work for this TV model and the software platform is not correct for it, so will not work as well as the intended software.

    You need to call customer service in regards to this issue, so they can assist you in finding a resolution:

    Hi Ina,

    I have been in contact with Customer Service over the week. They actually proposed the same as I already had done, which was a bit frustrating. It did not help. So far, I have not received a proper solution. Where are the technicians?

    of course the TV should work with NetTV and latest FW.
    However there is nothing we can do here on the Forum.

    Downgrading and reupgrading is the most popular solution as it works on most cases, on the rest we need to go deeper.

    Sadly i have to tell you that this is only possible via Costumer Service.

    Can you please get again in contact with your local Support.
    if they cannot help you, please make sure your case is logged and you get a case-id.
