    Cool Problem s TV GUIDE

    Koupil jsem nový televizor model 40PFT5509/12. Při projíždění programamů v TV GUIDE nejde tlačítkem OK navolit vybraný
    kanál. Kanál se asi na vteřinku objeví, potom obrazovka zčerná a objeví se původně navolený program. V čem je chyba?

    Sorry for using this entry, but maybe it is better than opening a new threat.

    On my Philips TV (42PFL4208K/12)I use the internet based electronic program guide which is provided by gracenote.
    Every evening during the prime time (from about 20:00 to 21:00 or even 22:00) access to the guide takes about 10 to 20 minutes or does not work at all.

    I reported this situation already to the Philips TV hotline (+496966801010), they told me that Philips would be not responsible for this situation. According to their advice I mailed to Gracenote - and got the answer, that they are a business to business company. As I understand, that is Philips who has to find a solution together with Gracenote.

    So I hope to find someone at Philips who is interested in improving the performance of the IP EPG.

    Since Philips claims not to be responsible for any problems with this service and adviced me to contact your company directly, I want to inform you that in the prime time (about 20:00 to 21:30) the performance of your servers is so bad that neither the electronic program guide nor the (in fact locally stored) own recordings can be used (access times between several minits and infinity (loosing the connection)).
    Could you please inform me, how and when you are going to solve this problem which now persists already for several weeks?
