    BDP-7750 full freeze problem

    Model: BDP-7750/12
    Firmware Ver: 1.20

    Hello,
    Just bought a brand new bdp7750/12 player and after the first day of watching I found some problems;
    the unit, after 3/4 minutes of playing, stops working with a full freeze of screen, remote control, everything.
    I tried to remove power cord, reset to factory settings without succes.
    Then I tried to upgrade the firmware, from 1.13 to the new one 1.20;
    The two steps of upgrading went perfectly; at the end the player, shuts down but doesn't restart leaving a black tv screen.
    After 10 minutes of power cord unplugged I switched on the unit and the initial configuration page popped up on tv screen.
    Firmware was upgraded to 1.20 but the player freezes again after few minutes (even on the home page).
    Is there anything I can do before sending the unit back to the seller?

    Thank you

    Hello,

    It looks like a faulty unit. I suggest you take it back to the dealer for repair of replacement.

    Kind regards,
