Need advice on repair replacing power module Philips 40PFL6605

    Need Help.

My Philips TV Model 40FL6605/98 suddenly went dead, when I turn it on. Believe the power module just died on me.

Appreciate if the "Expert" in this forum can advice me on how to go about replacing the power module.

    a) Power Module Part Number
    b) Where I can get this part? (Philips?)
    c) How to go about changing it.

    Appreciate the advice.

    Regards

    Hi kamalidol,

We do not advise self-repair of Philips TVs for various reasons including safety, and therefore we also do not give information regarding repair procedures on our official support channels, including the forum.

The best thing you can do is take up contact with an authorised Philips repair centre, who may be able to assist you.

Should you require help finding your nearest repair centre, please contact your local Philips customer service team:

    http://www.support.philips.com/suppo..._selector.jsp?
Select your country and preferred language, then Contact.

    Best regards,
    Ina
