Is PC mode recommended only for PC gaming, or in general when connecting a HTPC to the TV?

    Hi bjornw77,

PC and Game mode are optimised for activity that prioritises functionality over picture enhancement, to put it in broad strokes.

So in basic terms the PC mode would be ideal for when you wish to use your TV as a PC monitor for mainly static images. Game mode is ideal for gaming as it is intended to reduce lag etc. This is a little generalised, but I'm sure you get my point.

For the best viewing experience with an HTPC (for film viewing I assume), I would advise to treat it like any other media device, such as a DVD or Bluray player, rather than a PC.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    About restarting problems:

The F/W upgrade often messes up the channel table causing the TV continously restarting and/or other malfunctions.

All you have to do is:
1, turn into a mode where tuner is inactive (eg. SAT mode) to prevent the TV restarting
2, reinstall the TV completely from setup menu including TV channels (home/settings/TV settings/general settings (or similar, the last one) /reinstall TV)

    Best regards,
    Husom

I experienced tons of restarts (DVB-T active ->black screen-> picture coming back after ~ 10sec, sometimes even stays off) after the previous update .59. I found out that it was CAM releated (using some CONAX sharing using Airkit product). After inserting the first card(which works in the native mode, updating info from provider etc.) everything is OK. Working stable as never. Im starting to love this TV(the favourite TV channel mode is fantastic).
