FLAC files cut off by AW5000

I noticed an older thread that seemed to have been abandoned with exactly my problem. Does this mean it has been resolved? To recap, when playing music from my NAS that would otherwise be gapless, my (brand new) AW5000 cuts about 3-4 seconds of sound off the end and leaves a gap before the next track. This does not happen with any other players that I use. I have tried several control apps including Philips' own. Sounds to me like a hardware bug.

Thanks. I should also say that this happens to a similar extent with MP3s, when sent to the AW5000 from a phone for example.

Any tech support on this issue Philips?

Another user asked the same question but it seems that the speaker has tried the best with the latest firmware already.

And it seems to me that FLAC will has longer the gap because the bit rate is not a constant, hence the time estimation is not accurately. MP3 will give a shorter gap.
