no hdmi arc between 46pfl4008/98 and HTS7140/98

Tried doing the audio input mapping under easylink on the soundbar, while the TV is detected as a HDMI device by the soundbar (soundbar connected on HDMI1 port on the TV), it does not detect the HDMI ARC as the sound input source for the TV and only shows AUX, optical and coaxial options.

    How may I resolve this?

    Hi Darren,

I'm sorry to say that because your TV is not an EU model I have not been able to locate specific information about it. But I will try to help.

It sounds to me like HDMI ARC has not been enabled on the TV perhaps.

The menu point may be different on your TV, but try to have a look in the advanced sound options.
    These could be located here:

    HOME > [Setup] > [TV settings] > [Sound] > [Advanced] > [HDMI 1 - ARC]

Also ensure the HDMI cable is a High Speed cable.

Should you have any questions about the capabilities of your TV, I would advise you to contact your local customer service team, as this forum mainly deals with EU models.
