    Hi,

that's not the way to establish Miracast. You need to to start "screen cast" or "screen mirroring" in you Display settings of your Anroid Phone.

    Hi Danish75,

We can't really advise you directly regarding other Miracast devices, but on what your TV supports in regards to Miracast.

You can use Miracast certified devices that do not use the HDCP standard via Miracast.

Devices which we have tested some time ago and found to be compatible at the time of testing are:

    LG Nexus 4LG optimus G
    Widi 4.0 Win8
    Widi 4.0 Win7
    Asus MeMo PAD HD7
Intel laptops with WiDi 3.5 and up.

Perhaps other users have some updates and can advise in regards to other devices.

    Best regards,
    Ina

unable to enable screen mirroring - hdcp is not supported by the connected device

Hi, when I try to screen mirror my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with the 42PFL7008k, I get the "unable to enable screen mirroring - hdcp is not supported by the connected device" warning. Is there any way to get around? Or these two devices are simply not compatible? Thank you for your answer.

    I'M very disappointed about it.
Only 3 o 4 smathphones are enable to support Miracast?
It should be better if the most of them worked. Even the Samsung ones.
    Also it is usless.

    Hi Danish75,

DHCP and HDCP are unfortunately 2 different things altogether. Although they contain the same letters they are not related.

HDCP is an encryption standard related to content authorisation.
DHCP is an networking protocol related to IP addresses.

So changing your connection to Static IP will not make a difference in relation to Miracast and HDCP.

    Best regards,

    Hi Waawe,

Unless you are able to disable the HDCP in your device, then the Miracast feature of your TV won't be compatible with your device.

No, this is not the case. The devices I listed are merely the ones we have tested. They are not the only devices which may be compatible.

We cannot test every single Miracast device out there to ensure compatibility. This is why I noted that other users may have some experiences with other devices.

Most of the source products in these list are "unable to enable screen mirroring - hdcp is not supported by the connected device" like Samsung s3, s4, tab3 8", note2 etc., sony experia, lg g2 and many others.
Cause there is not a commercial accord by the parts. So you have to try every device praying that works.
    that's all
