    Question 3D issue yellow channel

    Hello,

    few month ago I have bought your product 55PFL6008K and BluRay player (Sony) to watch movies in 3D. Everything had been working fine until two weeks ago. When I started to watch 3D movie, I saw in right channel (right eye) only yellow screen instead of movie and after approx. 10 seconds BluRay player was switched off.

    I had no doubt that problem must be in BluRay so I took it to service center. They told me (and showed to me), that it is working fine. So I have bought another BR compatible device (PS3), brand new HDMI cable recommended for connection between BluRay players and flat Tvs. Result was the same. Both BlueRay players were able to play movie in 3D only few seconds and after that one or both of these devices were switched off. Normal 2D movies are playing fine.

    Please, could you advise me if there is any possibility to do self-repair/update/whatever or if it is necessary to visit authorised service center?

    Hi,

    make sure you have installed the latest firmware 173.50. And when the TV is running again, shut down and pull power cord for 2-3 Minutes.

    Hi, yes I have this firmware. You can verify it here: https://db.tt/MogR3ObX

    I have try 6 minutes reset and it is still the same. Tv shuts down immediately after showing yellow 3D movie (max. 2 sec).

    Hi Jan,

    Since you have tested 2 different 3D devices and also tested one of these devices on another TV, I would say there may be something up with your TV, but what this is I couldn't say.

    But before you contact customer services, please try to reinstall the TV:

    HOME > [Setup] > [TV settings] > [General settings] > [Reinstall TV]
    Follow the instructions on screen.
