    Shoqbox 7100 not pairing with Ipod Touch

    Hello - I have had a Shoqbox 7100 for a couple of years and used it with my Ipod touch with no problems until a couple of weeks ago. Then the sound started to be very intermittent - as if I was two rooms away although the two devices were right next to each other. Today it stopped making any sound, and the Ipod said it was not paired. I reset the Shoqbox and tried to re-Pair it following the manual directions, but the Ipod keeps listing it as Not paired.

    I have Bluetooth headphones which work just fine with the Ipod, so I assume the problem is with the Shoqbox. What else can I try to get it to work?

    Dear Gardiner,

    Thank you for the post on the Forum.

    Can you please confirm you tried to reset the device by following:
    1.Switch on the device.
    2.Open the cover on the bottom of the device.
    3.Press the RESET hole using the tip of a paper clip.

    Would that be possible to connect a Shoqbox with your phone to see if it works?

    Yes, I did - as I said, I reset the Shoqbox and tried to re-Pair it. It made no difference.

    Hello, it took me a while to get hold of another bluetooth device, my desktop computer is now equipped with a bluetooth usb key: I can now confirm that it absolutely does not work with that either. But my bluetooth headphones and ipod were both discovered immediately by the desktop computer.

    Any other ideas?
