Unhappy Philips 220tw error message( can not display this video mode)

    Hi,
I have had my Google Tv connected to Philips 220tw tv monitor for two years via Hdmi cable with no problems till yesterday, when I switched on the Google tv it started to display a rosy distorted desktop and then the TV's screen became black with a message in the middle of the screen saying( can not display this video mode), I tried everything like unplugging the cables, restarting the Google TV, changing the display resolution to 720p/50Hz, 720/60hz, 1080i/50Hz, 1080i/60H, the Google tv works fine on other branded tv in my home but not on this Philips tv anymore, please help as I bought this tv originally for use with this Google Tv.
    Thank you

    Hi Ina,
Thank you for your reply, I believe this is a software issue and that's why I came to the forum, if it was a hardware issue it would have affected only one HDMI port and not the two of them and I would have referred this to a local technician but I know that other people experienced the same issue with other Philips models such as 220E and I'm just wondering if there is a software update or adapter I can buy to solve this issue?
    Thanks

    Hi Haggag.

The forum is for consumer TVs only and we do not cover all products here unfortunately. Therefore the best solution for you is to contact the dedicated monitor support team directly as mentioned in my post above.

They will be better equipped to respond to your issues and assist you with software and troubleshooting.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Finally Sorted

Finally Sorted, any one has the same problem just buy a HDMI 3 Input Switch Hub Switcher Splitter Box and a HDMI cable to connect the box to the TV, somehow this fixed the signal by relaying it through this adapter.
