    Stuck/dead pixels on 40PFL9705H/12

I purchased my tv on 19th april 2011.It went to the repair center because it had a high pitch humming noise coming from the back of tv.This was fixed and returned to me this week.
Now i noticed a 10cm blueish vertical line from the top right corner area of the screen.I connected my pc and ran Dead Pixel Tester v3.00 and confirmed its damaged.I cannot tell if it is a stuck or dead pixels but it show up on dark purple, light grey, dark grey, dark yellow, dark red background colours.
The repair center has damaged this screen.
Ive emailed philips consumer care support,so far no reply yet.
Should i contact the repair center or let philips handle this problem?

I think you should contact the Philips office in your country (and not their call center - they never do anything because the cannot), and inform them that the repair center damaged your screen.

They should replace your set completely in my opinion.

Does the noise come from the speaker on the back panel? and is it when the ambilight is on, or does is happen when it is off too.
I get the noise when the ambilight is on only, but when I tested it at work the noise wasn't there. Not sure if it is affected by noisy electric supply!!

My TV is affected by the link below
    http://www.whathifi.com/News/Philips...y-PFL9705-TVs/

If the repair center mess up again ,it would not go back for a 4th time and will be written off by philips as unrepairable and would look into alternative means of resolution by the Head Office.
