HTL5120 voice track problem
Hi, I just bought a HTL5120 and I'm having some trouble with the sound.TV works fine, but whenever I play a Blu-Ray disc, the voice track volume is too low compared to the other tracks. Sometimes the voice track (and just the voice track) will sound like an echo that will disappear if I turn the surround option on and off.
I've tried both a Philips Blu-Ray player, a PS3 and an Apple TV. All of them are connected through HDMI ARC and have the same problem with the voice track. I've also tried night mode, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Am I missing something or is there something wrong with the sound bar?

Dear jzafraMD,
Thank you for your post. We would need more details about the issue.
Can you please let me know what's the volume level of the voice track? Does it disappear or it’s just not as high as you would like to have it?
Have you tried to change the sound mode? Play with the Equalizer?
Can you also provide more information about 'the echo sound which disappears when you turn the surround option on and off'? What exactly do you mean? What happens?
Thank you.
Kind regards,

I do hear the voice track, but it sounds too low. I can't turn up the volume too much or the music and action sequences will sound too loud. I have tried night mode and I don't think it makes a difference. I don't really know how to use the equalizer.
Regarding the echo, what happens is that whenever I play a movie, the dialogue will sound twice, so it's really hard to understand anything. I've found that if I turn the surround option on and off, the voice track goes back to normal. Moreover, I've noticed recently that sometimes the voice track goes mute when I change the scene. In order to recover the sound, I need to press a different source on the sound bar remote and then go back to the right source (so, if I'm using HDMI1, press HDMI2 and go back to HDMI1).

Dear jzafraMD,
In this case, I would strongly recommend you to contact your local service centre/dealer and they will be able to assist you further with the repair or exchange of the device.
