    DLNA Support

I was hoping for an interface similar to xbmc, but instead I found a cumbersome system for browsing videos on my server.

With the MP4 format supporting metadata, why do we not have a simple way of browsing the videos according to this format.
I ripped all of my videos to my server, and now have to browse through all of them just to watch a single movie.

    Hi Tenchu,

Please mention your TV model number.

Also a little more information about your issue would be appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Model: 29PFL4908
Issue: The video files from my media server are not being organized by the tv. Originally I could browse by Genre, but since the last update this has not been possible. Is there any way to get to an XBMC type of interface?

    Hi Tenchu,

Thank you for the additional information.

Have you changed anything in regards to your media server at all?

Please try to reset your network settings (Home Network) and thereafter reconnect.

Do you experience any additional issue with playback over DLNA at all?

    Best regards,
    Ina

The only change I have made is resetting my router.

My server is the pogoplug v4 media server. The TV was showing different options for filtering, but after the last update, it simply went to straight listing it.
