    Hi zgarcia,

Welcome to the Philisp Forum. I have moved your topic to a more appropriate forum section.

Your TV is behaving exactly as it should. The TV is not designed to automatically mute the TV speakers when headphones are connected.

You can however mute the TV speakers through the menu here:

HOME > [Setup] > [TV settings] > [Sound] > [Advanced] > [TV speakers] > Off

The reason is for the ease of use in regards to universal access.

    Best regards,
    Ina
