    Exclamation Fidelio L2 cable connection

    Just upgraded to these excellent cans - wonderful soundstage... but whilst the inline-mic cable snaps into the socket quite satisfactorily, the straight-through cable will not snap in and, in fact, doesn't work at all unless firmly held in place. The two seating lugs appear to have failed in the manufacture; as they are very soft (not at all like the other cable!).

    Is this a common issue, or more of a rare one off?

    Given that I bought them on eBay (even though new & unopened), I assume warranty is not covered, but are replacements available?

    I'll take the deafening silence in here as confirmation that it is a known manufacturing issue... ahem!
