Epg is not working here (denmark) or at least mine do not work, tv and internet is ok. Same thing the last couple of days. One moment it was working, the other not. What to do?

Hi Tbj141,
at my side IP-EPG also does not work normal although Server Status at 20:11 is green (everything runs normal). When I start IP-EPG I get a black screen with running dots for more that two minutes until I stop my try at test SmartTV.
SmartTV is also very slow at my side here in Germany.
so I retry IP-EPG and choose "Reload page" at options. Now I got the following error message "XML parsing failed" - so something goes wrong at IP-EPG.
regards bta

It seems that philips is not used to being an online serviceprovider, or at least they are not trying hard enough (or whatever this gracenote company is doing). Is there a service desk to report this on?

happy new year to everybody!
I apologize if this topic has been already discussed.. (i'm a newbye)
Unfortunately i have lots of problems (as many of you) connecting my 32pfl5007h to the EPG via internet.
Is there any possibility to use the usb recording (or playback) without having the EPG active? (IE when EPG is not reachable).
Thanks in advance
Paolo

Hi Tbj141
the only usefull thing I know is the NetTV support via e-mail, All the phone numbers and local help desks are senseless because they tell you update the tv's sw - they don't care if your currently running version is up to date. And thy tell you to clear the NetTV cache what takes a lot of time to reentere all usernames and pwd's and also doesn't helps with the actual issue.

Really frustrating. Since Christmas no EPG in the evening hours.
But at least different behaviour: Yesterday black screen, today black screen with progress indicator - but no progress :-(
I will start a battle with my retailer now. I consider my 42PFL7656K non-compliant to its spec, since recording is not possible anymore. Let's see how they react.

Give us an updat on the comming change of architecture ....

Hi,
everyone does have this problem - all IP-EPG servers are down (since 2 weeks, everyday after 8 in the evening).

Since weeks i´m becoming more and more angry
about the horrible unreliability of the EPG. Now I found this so-called support forum. But all I read here are postings by unsatisfied Philipps customers like me from all over Europe. So Philipps : WHERE STAYS THE SUPPORT ?
