    Angry Netflix AIP-701 error on BDP2105

    I just purchased a BDP2105 from Woot, mainly for the Netflix capability. While I can log in to my Netflix account on the player just fine, whenever I try to actually play a movie I get an error: "We're having trouble playing this title right now." It's error code AIP-701.

    Some Googling suggested that the solution here was to deactivate and reactivate the account on the player (using a button combination). I did that, logged back in, and had the same problem. I went to Netflix and tried "log out from all devices," then tried logging back in on the player: Same problem. I waited a few hours on the off chance that I'd exceeded some sort of device limit that would reset itself after a while--again, no dice.

    Has anyone with the BDP2105 encountered this problem? Is there a magic solution? Or did I just waste my money on this one?

    Hello,

    Are you using wired or wireless connection? Have you restored factory settings?

    Kind regards,

    @andyj682 try these steps:

    1. Deactivate Netflix
    2. factory default blu-ray player
    3. Set up network connection on blu-ray
    player
    4. Reactivate Netflix.
