Now no one writes on these forums censored responses and comments that do not interest Philips.

My first and my last Philips product.

    Hi Marius,

It can't be; They still have to fix some problems Like the rebooting issues and the P.N.M. that don't work good now. I suppose they don't stop with fw.upgrades untill this is fixed!

Last firmware is from 12/05/14 so it's almost 2 months ago!!

    Regards Jarno.

    Hello,

I have just bought a 55PFL6008K and here is my review about the fw...
When I connected it to my wifi... 3 updates before arriving to 173.052, cold restarts done..
I had some reboots when I changed some Settings or when start playing some MKV on USB..
By the way, I also had to convert DTS sound to AC3 to play it correctly...
Then I completely reinstall the tv in the configuration pane.. Almost every settings set to factory default... PNM OFF.. and nothing wrong now, 2 days after.
Hope this will never happen again..

Thanks to Philips to work on it.

I'm having audio problems since I first bought the TV.
You should really check out service number 1390381 as no one on the support has answered me since the month of march. You should really solve this issue.

    Are you serious??
They have released several firmwares without solving all the problems we informed them about.
Soon they will leave us for customers who have bought newer tvīs. I wish them good luck (both Philips and new customers)

I will NEVER buy a tv from Philips again!!

All of us hope this...but no firmware update for 2 months....and the support is totally gone.

Bye Bye Philips, your support technicians are very poor prepared.

No good firmware, i stop from hoping.

I don't think so! 2013 models are still being sold in many shops. At this forum i read posts from people who have a 2013 model just since some weeks.

I think that Philips/TP Vision has a really bad Marketing Team. From my point of view this place (forum) should be taken as a communication tool to reduce the distance between manufacturer and endpoint user. Problems should be analyzed and solved to reach customer satisfaction and trust.

However, we are having an incomplete information, sometimes silence. Many of bugs from latest firmware version are still not fixed and there is no information from Philips/TP Vision about the progress. Please do know that it is discouraging for clients.

    Hi,

Today new software for the 6/7/8/9000 series of 2012 has been announced. I am glad to see that they continue releasing software!

I suppose soon there will be a new software/firmware release for our 2013 models!

Let's hope that Philips and TP-Vision listened good to all our feedback from the last months!

    Regards, Jarno.
