    recording to USB HDD does not work over midnight

    40PFL8008S/12 with the latest firmware does not let you to record a channel if end time is set after midnight.

    Manual recording:
    "incorrect time" message is shown if start time is 23:59 and end time 00:01 for example.

    Scheduled recording:
    recording just stops when new day begins.

    What could it be?

    Hello Ina,
    current software version is QF2EU-0.173.52.0 12/05/2014
    I use digital TV over cable modem. Electronic program guide is not set to TV service provider, but to internet.

    Once "time is not correct" is shown, OK button does not accept time.

    The same in my 55PFL6158 with the last firmware 173.052.

    I also need the TV serial numbers and Aligiam, your provider as well, please.

    Once I have this I can send it to the developers.
    I need the serial number as this is how the developers verify certain aspects of the issue and individual cases

    I've had a couple of new questions being raised in regards to this issue. We are having trouble reproducing the issue, so if you could please let me know the following as well.

    Please attempt the following and let me know your findings:

    1) Schedule a recording to start before midnight. Make it the last program scheduled before midnight so it doesn't overlap with the next program time slot.
    2) Set a manual recording from, say 23:45 – 00:15.

    Also:

    3) Does recording work if using DVB EPG?
    4) Is it every channel / pay channels – any pattern noticed?
    5) Who is your provider?
    6) Does SmartTV work / stop working when the clock strikes 12? Play, e.g. a YouTube video just before midnight. Does the video continue playing after midnight?
    7) Which country are you in?
