Strange behavior when I unplug and then plug an AC cord again

    Hello,

    I have a Philips 42PFL5008K/12 TV.
Firmware version on the TV: TPM1013E_003.007.000.001

When I turn off the TV with a remote control and then unplug AC power cord and after some time when I plug it to the wall outlet again, the TV turns on itself (usually it stays turned off with red light in the center of the TV and only after I press a power button on the remote the TV turns on), the Philips "welcome screen" is displayed and the TV screen stays black (not turned off, also there is no red light in the middle as it usually is on when I turn it off using the remote control) and it stays in such condition until I press the power button on the remote control. After I press the power button (on the remote) it turns on instantly (no Philips "welcome screen"), it feels something like it resumes the turning on process.

Can you help me with this?

P.S. I think this problem isn't related exactly to this firmware version as the TV behaved the same way with other firmware versions.

I have no solution for it yet

I think Philips must reply on this as I'm not the only one who is having such problem.
