unable to connect TV with Home Cinema

    Hi,

I have th TV 46PFL4308H/12 and I recently purchased the home cinema (also from philips) HTD3540/12.

I connected both of them through and HDMI 1.4 cable, Easylink is working OK, BUT the problem is that I cannot listen the TV through the Home cinema. The Audio Out function of the HDMI is not working. I do not know what to do.
I have tried changing the HDMI cable, I tried with the one that came with my Nintendo Wii U, and nothing. Easylink is OK but audio is not coming out. User guides from your equipment are very very poor in detail and I do not know what the problem is.

    · How I have to set up the home cinema? Do i Need to select a specific source in the home cinema to listen the music ffrom HDMI?
    · In the TV whenever I go to the sound menu and try to select speakers --> Amplifiers, IT shows the error message...

The thing is that this is the only way I can connect the TV with the Home cinema, as the TV does not have optical output

    PLEASE HELP!

    Hello,

Make sure to check the following settings:

Setup»TV configuration»Sound»TV-speakers must be set to Easylink.
    Setup»TV configuration»Sound»HDMI1-ARC must be on.
If this is set up right try and change the setting in audio output to stereo.

In the Home cinema set you need to select HDMI ARC (Audio return channel) for you to hear something.

    Hope this works for you.
