    Miracast

    Hello
    I have just bought a new Lenovo 15 Flex laptop and upgraded it straightaway to Windows 8.1. I have a Philips 46PFL8008S.

    I am having no luck with connecting the laptop using 'Miracast'. It shows the tv on the project section of the laptop, the tv miracast option is on in the tv, but they will not connect.

    I have the latest firmware on my tv and my Windows is all updated.

    Any advice/help would be appreciated.

    did you use the Intel Widi Software or the Windows build in Option?

    Hi Thomas

    I tried both. Do I need to turn off Firewall? How close should the PC be to the TV? Does it matter if my Internet router is on or off?
