philips btd7170 audio in time out (around 15 minutes)

I connect the audio in cables from my PC output to my philips btd7170 audio in jack. It works great. However, it automatically time out every 15 minutes.

Is there any way to set no time out ? I have read the user manual, but cannot find such parameters.

I mean "time out" = automatically sytem power off. I need to manually power it on. Then it turn off by itself after 15 minutes again.

    Hello,

    That is a normal behaviour.

As a power-saving feature, the system switches off automatically 15 minutes after track play reaches the end and no control is operated.

    Kind regards,

Rafal, thanks for your reply. So I need to manually re-start the system every 15 minutes when I watch TV or Movie with the audit in to the btd7170 ? I believe there is a better solution. Please advice.

    Hi,

Can you confirm it switches itself off during playback?

    Regards,

I can confirm you "Yes". The system power off by itself when I am watch French Open in the past few days. I have my PC output the sound to the btd7170 via the audio-in jack. I manually powered it on yesterday around 10 times. I feel very annoying.

    Hi,

Has it always been like that or did it just happen recently? Have you tried connecting with another cable?

I started to use it last week and it was like this. Is the cable a causing factor ? I may try to connect it with another cable.

    Hi,

I had the same problem, but when you go to the settings you have one option (eco something or something like that ). I'm currently at work, and I dont remember what is name of that option.
    You need to check it.

    Or, check the sleep timer.
